Plastic surgery is often misidentified as being only about nips and tucks. Most people find that life does bring physical changes that produce interference with sporting, social or workplace activities. Attention to diet and exercise can accomplish a lot of physical improvement, but some changes will not respond to focused effort. Indeed, significant weight loss may be accomplished with dispiriting skin folds developing, should your skin lack the elasticity to conform to your new shape. Skin folds can be reshaped and stretched abdominal muscle supports tightened. Breasts may become too large and contribute to physical restrictions on active exercise or cause aching through the neck and shoulders. It is possible to reduce their size or correct stretched shapes.
Other plastic surgical techniques may be useful to correct unsightly scars from injury or surgery, although your intrinsic scar characteristics will need to be carefully considered.
